Coinkite announces the COLDCARD Mk4 with early-bird reservations. The Mk4 brought a complete redesign with USB-C, NFC tap-to-sign capability, a faster processor, and a third secure element — making it the most hardened Bitcoin signing device ever built.
The Mk4 also introduced Virtual Disk mode for easier PSBT file transfer and expanded multisig support. NFC tap-to-sign meant users could sign transactions by simply tapping their phone, while maintaining full air-gap security.
