Bitcoin Historical Events is a growing collection of notable dates, milestones, and events in bitcoin history — from the pre-Bitcoin foundations of cryptography in 1976 through the Genesis Block in 2009 to the latest halving and beyond.
This project is maintained by Coinkite Inc., a Bitcoin security company founded in 2011. Coinkite builds COLDCARD hardware wallets, Opendime bearer instruments, and BLOCKCLOCK displays.
