On this day in 2010, an anonymous artist using the handle "bitboy" shared one of the best brand images of all time for free on the BitcoinTalk forum. The iconic orange circle with a white "B" and two vertical strokes -- tilted 14 degrees clockwise -- became Bitcoin's universally recognized logo. Bitboy released the design into the public domain, asking for nothing in return.
